8th Annual DoD Cyber Crime Conference Announces Keynote Speakers Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3), Linthicum, Maryland –Special Agent Shawn Henry, Assistant Director, Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Cyber Division, William Yurek, Senior Counsel Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section (CCIPS), Criminal Division, U.S. The Department of Justice are among the distinguished keynote speakers participating in the 8th Annual DoD Cyber Crime Conference, co-sponsored by the DoD Cyber Crime Center and the Joint Task Force – Global Network Operations, which will be held Jan. 26-30, 2009 at the Renaissance Grand Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri.
Leaders from government and industry will discuss all aspects of computer crime: intrusion investigations, cyber crime law, digital forensics, and information assurance as well as the research, development, testing and evaluation of digital forensic tools. The goal of this year’s conference is for attendees to learn and share processes as well as prepare for the future.
The conference will feature presentations by leaders in the discipline of cyber crime prevention. The exposition will feature related agencies and companies. This year’s conference theme is “The First 24 Hours”.
