Blackberry has announced a deal with Verizon Wireless to offer the new Blackberry Storm. The Storm is set to compete directly with Apple’s iPhone.
The Storm offers a key feature that is missing in the iPhone. A primary complaint with the iPhone is the screen is too hard. There is no “touch feedback” from the virtual keyboard. Keyboards offer the keys a sense of direction.
The Storm is offering a soft touchscreen that will provide at least a minimal response to pressure. The feature provides the feedback Blackberry hopes.
