Computer Company HP’s Former CEO Interviewed by St. Louis’ KTRS

KTRS, a local St. Louis radio station, interviewed Carly Fiorina.  Carly is the former CEO of computer company Hewlett Packard between 1999 and 2005.  During the interview Carly was asked about both candidates on the GOP ticket.  She was asked specifically about their leadership skills and if they could run a corporation.  Later in the day she was also asked the same questions inn a MSNBC interview.

In both interviews Carly stated neither of the candidates could run a corporation as a CEO.  I agree with this assessment.  The candidates are diverse in their backgrounds and in the end are politicians.  They are not working for a company.  Carly didn’t survive too long on the HP pulpit either.  By 2005 HP’s board felt she could not run a company either.

Carly was not stating the candidates were dumb or inexperienced.  She merely stated they were not CEO material.  The interviewers put themselves in the position of looking dumb in an effort to make McCain look dumb.
