The Danforth Center is the largest non-profit research institution in plant science according to EnviroLogix’ press release dated 2/9/10.  The partnership will use immunological assays for identifying crop variations with improved “beta carotene.”

Similar sciences in the St. Louis have been successful.  St. Louis, once known as an aviation giant metropolis, is positioned well in the bio-sciences.  It needs to grow though.  This status has not changed in over 15 years.
