We have received numerous calls regarding the update process in AVG not working. We have not received information regarding a fix or not at this time.
The two solutions are to either go to the Grisoft website and manually download the updates and perform a directly update versus online or uninstall and reinstall AVG and/or upgrade your version 7.x to version 8.
Please note: AVG Personal version is for non-commercial use only. We do not endorse nor install this version. We only support commercial versions both for residential and business customers. This notation is only for the benefit of our customers that have installed the personal version themselves.
