LavaSoft’s new Ad-Aware 2007 busts out with a tougher application that helps you to combat spyware, adware, and trojans. Ad-Aware has four different versions – SE Enterprise, 2007 Pro, 2007 Plus, and 2007 Free.
The free version is for private use only. It is not authorized for use in commercial places of business. Ad-Aware consistently has rated in the top five applications on CNet’s Download web service.
The personal version is limited by not offering real-time protection. You can scan your system manually. However, the protection is not full-time. Your computer is still susceptible to infection.
We advise never to use just one software package. Net-Net Tech, LLC suggests a combination of Microsoft’s Defender, LavaSoft Ad-Aware, and Spybot Search and Destroy. In addtion, don’t forget about anti-virus software and a firewall.
