Microsoft Issues Critical Security Update

Microsoft has issued an “out-of-band” security update.  It is imperative the update takes place as soon as possible.  The urgency of “out-of-band” is rare.  This means the update is available immediately versus the first Tuesday of each month.

Microsoft typically applies updates, patches and security fixes each month.  However this security update is applied by going into Internet Explorer and selecting “help” on the menu bar and then scrolling down and selecting “check for updates.”

This update fixes a security vulnerability exposing passwords for anyone specifically having the knowledge and desire to obtain your passwords and information.
