The Columbia Journalism Review posted an article March 4, 2010 by Mr. Justin Peters called Trust Falls : CJR.  The article focuses on Mr. Greenbaum and his actions back in late 2009.

We posted about the incident back in November 2009 regarding a comment made by a reader of Mr. Greenbaum’s question.  Mr. Greenbaum is employed by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.  The question left some colorful comments made by Mr. Greenbaum’s viewers.  Ultimately, the person who answered Mr. Greenbaum’s question quit his job.

The Columbia Journalism Review addresses the authority, credibility and on-line communications and how it relates to “trust.”

It’s interesting what a couple of computers, social networking, and careless blog administrators can cook up.  Professionalism was out the door with this entire incident.  Someone needs to use their computer to repair their reputation.
