<p>The Danforth Center is the largest non-profit research institution in plant science according to EnviroLogix&#8217; press release dated 2/9/10.  The partnership will use immunological assays for identifying crop variations with improved &#8220;beta carotene.&#8221;</p>
<p>Similar <a href="http://www.netnetblog.com/st-louis-childrens-hospital-raises-130-million" title="St. Louis has partnered in the sciences in the past."  target="_blank">sciences in the St. Louis</a> have been successful.  St. Louis, once known as an aviation giant metropolis, is positioned well in the bio-sciences.  It needs to grow though.  This status has not changed in over 15 years.</p>
