<div>The route is fully subsidized by fedzilla.  It certainly is high-tech and all, but it is funded by the great, great, great grandchildren of Mr. Obama.</div>

<div>This evening the president will detail the plans during or after his <a href="http://bit.ly/c8dDge" title="President Obama addresses the building of a high-speed train during the State of the Union speech"  target="_blank"><em>State of the Union</em> address</a>.  Projects of this type are of no value.  They do create jobs, but takes the country down a bad path.  The St. Louis Metrolink and AmTrak are two good examples of this.  Both projects have never produced a profit nor are they ever filled to capacity.</div>
