Some may consider Twitter a fad, others may consider it redundancy of what is already on the web in other social media services, and then there are the others that love it.

Twitter has no doubt taken on a life that is second behind Facebook in terms of growth. MySpace is now losing patronage as it slows down growth. Facebook has taken the limelight away from MySpace.

One of the key features, particularly in Twitter, is status updates. As the world continues to grow into media, the GenXs and Ys are turning more to the status of their real-time doings. In fact, MySpace and Twitter both have surpassed e-Mail as the most used application related to communicating with people.

The fastest and most convenient way to provide the status updates is via Twitter. SMS texting and client applications allow for quick updates without an extensive authentication process. A quick entry of your where abouts SMSd to your Twitter or FaceBook account and your account is updated.

If you have a Windows Mobile or BlackBerry (often referred to as a CrackBerry) take a look at TinyTwitter. The application installs quickly over-the-air onto your device. Start TinyTwitter up, enter your ID and password, and it is off an running.

Now I can cruise St. Charles or Saint Louis, while on the road taking care of my customers, and Twitter. My customers can subscribe to my Twitter account, although my life is not that exciting, while I am installing a wireless network or installing a business computer.
