Catching up today I stumbled upon a program that fits within a niche.   The program attempts to comfort you as you blissfully type your article or blog.  It is worth a try considering it doesn’t cost anything.  There is an advanced version for those that are kind enough to donate.

CreaWriter features a clutter-free desktop, background desktop image and a background ambient sound.  The audio is subtle and I figure you are supposed to be more productive.

Unfortunately, the program cannot shut-up cats, dogs, nor your better half while trying to write.  You still need a quiet area if you need to concentrate.
