Technology Magazine to Stop Print Edition
December 2, 2008 |
Remembering back to the 1980’s, PC Magazine arrived on the scene in a timely matter and quickly rose to the leadership role of print media. The magazine now becomes a victim of the very topic it specializes in, technology.
The decision to end the printed magazine is mildly sad. If you are a true nerd, this publication was the playboy of technology. All kidding aside the magazine content is always loaded with informative content for PC enthusiasts. Many careers undoubtedly started by early readership of PC Magazine.
I still read PC Magazine as a professional in the industry of 20+ years. The copyright contains information of future products, industry trends, and common scenarios of current technology. You were able to read the magazine with articles on computer and network repair, business solutions with technology reviews, and future technology preparation.
Part of me is sad to see the print edition end. The good news is the online edition will continue. The Internet is the common denominator of all information. If there is a question the Internet has an answer.
Seek PC Magazine online. The only question is if they will change their name to PC iMagazine.
