We recommend you try these services for any computer file you suspect of virus infection. You select the file you suspect is infected and uploaded to the VirusTotal servers. The servers then scan your file and reports if the file is infected or not.
A few of our customers are reporting great feedback with the service. The service does not scan your entire computer. It only scans files you manually submit for verification of infection by uploading the file to their servers.
